New-ish Art

One complete painting, one in-progress painting, and one drawing that I did for a tile relief pattern. You can also see the the slab of clay in progress below. The slab has since been cut into tiles and bisque fired. Now I need to glaze them and make them function as tiles.

Archived Photo Collection

Just cleaning and organizing my jump drive and found a few photos I took, who knows when, exactly. So, before removing them from the jump drive to make room for new stuff, I decided to archive them here.

Illustrator Tutorial Results

I found some cool Illustrator tutorials online today and this is an example of the 3D type/ray bursting through the clouds effect one I tried. There were others I did, but I thought this one was kind of sweet looking and the colors are very unlike anything I would normally do, which I liked.

Form Design: Candidacy Forms for the OU Graduate College

This is an example of a redesign of the two page Admission to Candidacy form that graduate students complete and turn into our office closer to graduation. Counselors found that the original form was confusing for students because they frequently received phone calls from students asking how to fill out the form. Therefore, in an effort to alleviate frustration for students and counselors, in a nutshell, I redesigned the form on a grid to make it easier to understand. Along with the redesigned form, the original form is viewable below as well.
